Welding Cable

Welding Cable is manufactured with flexible copper strands in 30 awg or 34 awg depending on the flexibility you need. It's rated for 600 volts and has a rubber EPDM insulation that is abrasion resistant and RoHS complient. If you need the 34 awg extra flexible welding cable see our Super Vu Tron material. If you need a cable with higher voltage take a look at our Type W power cable that rates for 2000 volts.

This is our standard flexible welding cable which has a rubber insulation and it's much more flexible than the standard THHN electrical wire. Super Vu Tron has a thicker insulation than standard welding cable. The thicker insulation allows for a lot more impact to extend the life of the cable even longer. If you need a basic welding cable you can visit our standard flex welding cable page.

Other power cables include: DLO cable offers a higher voltage but isn't as flexible as welding cable. DLO cable (locomotive cable) also has tinned copper instead of bare copper strands. Type W power cable is another type that offers a rubber jacket over the standard insulation for industrial use. This type of cable takes a lot of abuse out in the field by getting run over by machines and dragged across concrete and rocky surfaces.
